Here Comes The Sun

L'été est finalement de retour après plusieurs petites vagues de chaleur durant les mois précédants. Je suis tellement heureuse du retour du beau temps que j'ai décidé de recommencer à faire du vélo. J'ai donc en cette première journée d'ensoleillement je suis allée au parc avec le vélo de L. and nous avons pris les premières photos estivales de l'année. J'ai opté pour une tenue légée avec un mélange de style "bohémien" (le pantalon) et de mod des années 60 (le chemise au col Peter Pan). J'espère comme d'habitude que vous apprécierez ceci.

Summer finally arrived after many little waves of heat in the last few months. I'm so happy about the nice weather that I decided that this summer I'd start bicycling again. So on this first day of sunshine I went to the park on L.'s bike and took my first summer pictures of the year. I opted for a nice light outfit that I thought was fun; a mix bohemian style (the pants) and sixties mod (peter pan collar shirt). I hope you enjoy it as usual. :)

Dream A Little Dream Of Me

Il y a une semaine, je suis allée à un centre de méditation boudhiste au Vermont où je vais régulièrement et j'y ai passé une fin de semaine pour fuire les manifestations de Montréal. C'était si agréable de reconnecter avec la nature. J'ai eu un moment merveilleux: j'ai rencontré un garçon très sympathique, je suis allée pour une longue randonnée et j'ai eu la chance de voir la super lune. J'ai pris pleins de photos et j'ai pensé qu'il serait bien de photographier ce que je portais ce week-end. Alors comme d'habitude, je mis la minuterie de mon appareil photo et j'ai pris des photos de moi-même. :P

A week ago, I went to this buddhist meditation center in Vermont that I go to many times a year and I spent a weekend there to get away from the demonstration in Montreal. It felt so nice to be connected with nature again. I had a wonderful time: I met this really nice guy, I went for a long hike and I had the chance to see the super moon. I took these pictures and I thought it would be nice to incorporate what I was wearing that weekend. So as usual, I put the camera timer on and took pictures of myself. :P

Je ne connais pas beaucoup sur le photographe Robert Doisneau, mais j'adore ses photos. J'adore l'essence, la profondeur, l'émotion qui se dégage de ces derniers. Je n'ai pas beaucoup à dire sur ces oeuvres, sauf qu'elles m'émerveillé. J'espère que vous les aimerez autant que moi. :)

I don't know much about the photographer Robert Doisneau, but I love his pictures. I adore the essence, the depth, the emotion that comes out of these. I don't have much to say about these art pieces except that they marvel me. I hope you'll like them as much as I do.
