Open Your Eyes

I'm creating nostalgia as we speak and I'm very satisfied. All this new people in my life are pushing me to go outside and do things. Simple things like picnicking on one of Montreal's landmarks: Mount Royal. If you don't know what it is, well let me explain it to you. It's a mountain and it's royal. Actually, that's not true, it's more like a bump, but it's still glorious. So, yesterday, I went up the hill with these fabulous people and we had lots of fun. I really like them. I am actually with them right now.

You might be wondering why I'm on the computer if they're all so wonderful, but don't worry everyone is occupied. Well never mind, now they're all annoying me, so enjoy the pictures.

We're Bound To Linger On

I've been socializing with new groups of people lately and I find them very interesting to observe. You you can make many discoveries about people and groups of people just by hanging out with them a few times.

The first thing I've realized is that there are so many different kinds of group dynamics. Groups of friends are almost like small communities to a certain level, because the people in them share generally a common point of view on life and have similar values. But if you push the analysis even farther you could say that, on the contrary, groups are all very much the same. We all have our experiences, dramas, problems, secrets, jokes as a gang, which are at the basis of these relationships. Basically, a group of friends is like a human being in itself. It lives through things, has happy moments, sad moments and always has something to think about.

I could go on and on about this fascinating subject but my bed is calling me. So here's a nice fall look for you guys! Raccoons and high waisted "boyfriend" jeans!

Everything You Do Is A Gem In My Collection

I made a new friend the other day. Well not really, but I wish I did. Her name's Nana, but people call her Oh Land. She's an awesome fairy-like Danish singer whom I got to see in concert with A. on Sunday. She used to be a dancer so when she's on stage she moves like no other! Her vocals are amazing and her songs were so amazingly fun to dance too. I even got to meet her and continue my tradition of saying awkward things to people I appreciate. This time I told her I knew how to say "happy birthday" in danish. Anyways, it was a blast! I'm so lucky we got to see two concerts in a week.
