This Could Be The Day That We Push Through

I thought I'd show you my new shoes by taking a picture of a new outfit. But I just had to wear black socks and frame the pictures so you could hardly actually see them. Smart! I guess there will be another occasion to see them better. In the meantime, here's what my last week looked like. I'm only showing you the weekend though because my weeks are meant for "studying".  ;)

Sweater: Vintage
Jeans: Calvin Klein (From my sister)
Belt: Vintage
Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell

My weekend started off last Friday when I finally got to get the new Tame Impala record. They sold out all their concert tickets, so I thought I'd buy their vinyl to compensate. It's an amazing album! I can't stop listening to them! <3

That same day, I watched Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, but it was really trashy. Luckily, I got my mind blown the next morning when I watched Stanley Kubrik's The Shining. It was simply amazing. The photography was so smartly done and Danny, the little boy, must of had an amazing concentration for doing his role. I can't forget to mention Jack Nicholson. I have only one word to describe him and that would be: Badass! He is simply rad in his role. Lastly, I have to give credit to the actress that played Winifred (what a name!). I would be so freaked out to be surrounded by "crazy" people all day.

On Saturday evening, I went on my first real night excursion. My mom finally let me go out late so A., G and I decided to go to the "Nuit Blanche" which consists partying all night long in the downtown area. So after babysitting until 11PM, we left to go have fun. Sadly, we didn't get to go dancing because we are minors, but I did get to go on a Ferris wheel for the first time which was fun even though we waited an hour in line. We then had some fries and headed home again around 3:30AM. It was fun!

By the way, I'm going to audition to model for a fashion show. I'll talk about more tomorrow!
